We believe in the power of education to unlock financial security, so Picatinny Federal Credit Union grants two $2,000 scholarships each year to students entering post-secondary education.
To be eligible, applicants must be:
- A graduating high school senior
- A member of Picatinny Federal Credit Union
- Accepted to an accredited college, university, or technical/trade school for the Fall of 2025 semester
- Registered for at least 12 credits for the semester
To apply:
- Fill out the form below
- Submit an official high school transcript (must be non-weighted on a 4.0 scale)
- Submit a sealed letter of recommendation from a teacher
- Submit a 500-1,000 word essay on the following topic: How have you contributed to positive change within your community?
- All submission material must be received on or before DATE TBA. Mailed items (including sealed letter of recommendation) must be postmarked by DATE TBA.

Disclosure statement:
PFCU uses a committee to determine the scholarship winners. PFCU employees, volunteers, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate. Students applying for the scholarship must be a member of Picatinny Federal Credit Union. Any non-member applicant will be disqualified. To learn more about membership, visit the Membership page. When PFCU awards the scholarship, checks will be made payable to the student. In the event of insufficient eligible applicants, PFCU may choose not to award the scholarship. For questions, contact us.
